Founded in 2013, Winston Yong Architects is a Melbourne based architecture and interior design studio, driven by innovative design thinking and site responsive architecture.

With an inherent awareness towards embedded sustainability, the practice is also dedicated to creating architecture that is informed by context, and the cues that can be drawn from landscape to inform design.

WHAT WE DO
With extensive experience in both high-end single and multi-residential projects, our design philosophy is focused around quality client and user outcomes.

We work closely with our clients to determine functional briefs, designing built-form responses that are thoughtful and well considered.

We are motivated by contemporary methods and bold architectural statements; qualities we seek to represent through our own design language.

Winston Yong is the founding director of Winston Yong Architects, and has been practising in Australia and overseas since 2003. He established the practise in 2013 after working with some of Australia’s best known and celebrated architects and developers.

Winston leads the practice’s design direction, and his time in the industry has afforded him extensive experience in full project delivery, from feasibility concepts, planning, detail design and documentation, to marketing, tendering and construction contract administration.

His involvement at each stage of project delivery ensures quality outcomes are maintained and implemented from inception to completion.
